BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE: I have worked with insects and insect control since 1960. I retired from Washington State University in 2002 after 30 years as a research/extension professor of Entomology. I worked on bee poisoning from pesticides, pollination of a number of crops (apples, alfalfa, onions, etc) and integrated pest management of a number of crops (potatoes, carrots, pears, etc). I am the author of over 200 publications dealing with insects, insecticides, pollination by bees, insect control and killing of bees from pesticides. I have been an expert for 34 different attorneys and also investigated a number of other bee kills for growers and beekeepers (cases that did go to litigation).
