Dr. is the Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor with The University of Utah, College of Health, Division of Physical Therapy.

Dr. has presented her research related to self-assessment and curriculum design, development and evaluation and innovative teaching practices at the local, state and national levels.

Dr. has served as an expert witness on cases related to delegation, supervision and movement dysufunction related to delivery of physical therapy services.

Dr. serves on the College-wide Student Affairs Committee and is an active member of the Utah Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Utah-Allied Health Education Consortium (AHEC), Northwest Intermountain Consortium of Clinical Educators, and serves on the APTA Annual Conference Committee.

She served as Vice-Chair for the Southwest District of the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA). Dr.received her BS in Physical Therapy (PT) in 1987 from the #1 Ranked, Washington University, School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO and was recognized with the Outstanding Clinical Achievement Award.

Beginning her PT career in her rural hometown, Quincy, IL, she served as clinician and instructor for PT student interns.

She received her Master's of Science in Education, from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO.

Dr. also served as a clinical administrator for a major rehabilitation provider in the Metro Orlando, FL region.

Dr.received her Doctor of Education, from the Fischler Graduate School, Programs for Higher Education, Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL with Specialization in Healthcare Education and Concentration in Curriculum Design, Development & Evaluation. She is a recipient of the Outstanding Research Award for her dissertation, "Sitting Beside Oneself: Development and Validation of a Self-Assessment Process for Physical Therapy Students and Graduates" partially funded, FPTA. She is an invited author for the APTA, Education Section, Journal of Physical Therapy Education (JOPTE); Enhancing Diversity through Mentorship: The Nurturing Potential of Service-Learning & Feehan, JOPTE, 2004). This manuscript was Awarded The Feitelberg Journal Founders Award in 2005 by JOPTE. Dr. has additional publications and awards.

Dr.was recently awarded the U of U Technology Assistance Curriculum Center, Faculty Fellowship for spring 2001-03 and recipient of the 2004 UT System of Higher Education Exemplary Faculty Use of Technology Award.
