Qualified at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1970.
Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Eng.) in 1976 and Fellowship of the British Orthopaedic Association at the RCS (Eng.) in 1984.
Training included two years lectureship in anatomy at St Bartholomew's Medical School. Orthopaedic training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, London with appointments in the Windsor and Northampton Group of Hospitals.
Completed training in 1982, obtaining Certificate of the Council and of the Joint Committee on Higher Surgical Training of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Locum Consultant appointments at Ealing Hospital up to 1988 and Whittington Hospital for six months in 1985 since when in independent practice in Harley Street doing general orthopaedics and medico-legal work - criminal and civilian litigation, also permanent health insurance reports.
